Complaints Policy

Last Updated: October 21, 2026

This policy explains how to complain about content on Slip, how we handle a complaint, and how to appeal what we decide. It is part of our Content Moderation and Complaints Policy, which has the detail.

How to complain

Anyone can complain about content on Slip, with or without an account. Use Report content, or email report@sliplink.co with the subject "Content Report". Include the link or the creator's username, what concerns you, and how to reach you. You can complain on your own behalf, or for someone who appears in the content.

What happens next

  • We acknowledge your complaint within 24 hours.
  • If it says the content shows someone under 18, sexual activity without consent, or intimate images shared without permission, the content, and the creator's page if the complaint names it, comes down as soon as we receive it, while we review it.
  • A person reviews every complaint and resolves it within 7 business days of receiving it.
  • We tell you the outcome in writing within the same 7 business days.

What the outcome can be

We dismiss the complaint; or we remove the content; or we act on the creator's account, from holding an item to suspension or termination, as set out in Section 8 of the Content Moderation and Complaints Policy. Content showing a minor, sexual activity without consent, or human trafficking ends the account at once and is reported to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and to law enforcement as the law requires.

Appeals

You can appeal a decision by emailing appeals@sliplink.co within 30 days of it. That includes a creator whose content was removed, and anyone who appears in content and asked for it to be removed and was refused. A person who wasn't involved in the first decision reviews the appeal and answers in writing, with the reason, within 7 business days.

If you appear in content and still disagree after your appeal about whether you consented, you can ask for the disagreement to be decided by a neutral arbitrator under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, at Slip's expense. Content is removed if the decision is that consent was not given or is void under the law.
