This Privacy Policy describes how Design Business Company Inc. ("Slip," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website at sliplink.co and related services (the "Platform").
1. Information We Collect
Information You Provide
Account Information: Email address, username/display name, password (encrypted), profile photo (optional).
Creator Verification Information: Legal name, date of birth, government-issued ID, address, tax identification information (for payouts).
Payment Information: We do not store credit card numbers. Payment processing is handled by third-party processors (Segpay). We receive transaction confirmations and payout details.
Content and Communications: Messages sent between fans and creators, media files shared through the Platform, support requests and communications with us.
Information Collected Automatically
Device and Usage Information: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device identifiers, pages visited and features used, time and date of visits, referring URLs.

2. How We Use Your Information
Provide and Operate the Platform: Process transactions and payouts, facilitate communications between users, verify creator identities, prevent fraud and unauthorized access.
Improve and Develop: Analyze usage patterns, debug and fix issues, develop new features, conduct research and analytics.
Communicate With You: Send transaction confirmations, notify you of messages and responses, provide customer support, send service announcements.
Legal and Safety: Comply with legal obligations, enforce our Terms of Service, protect against fraud and abuse, respond to legal requests.
3. How We Share Your Information
With Other Users
Creators see tip amounts, optional messages, and email (only if the fan chooses to share). Fans see creator profiles, responses, and content sent to them. Display names and avatars are visible to users you interact with.
With Service Providers
We share information with third parties who help us operate, including payment processors (Segpay), cloud hosting providers, email services, analytics providers, and identity verification services. These providers are contractually bound to protect your information.
For Legal Reasons
We may disclose information to comply with legal process, respond to government requests, protect our rights and safety, enforce our Terms of Service, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
4. Data Retention
Account data is retained until account deletion plus 30 days. Transaction records are kept for 7 years (legal/tax requirements). Creator verification records are kept for the duration of the account plus 5 years (2257 compliance). Messages and content are retained until deleted by user or account termination. Server logs are kept for 90 days.
5. Your Rights and Choices
You may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or portability of your personal data. You may also object to certain processing activities. To exercise these rights, contact privacy@sliplink.co.
6. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (TLS/SSL), encryption at rest for sensitive data, access controls, regular security assessments, and employee training. However, no system is completely secure.
7. International Data Transfers
We are based in the United States. If you access the Platform from outside the US, your information will be transferred to and processed in the US. For users in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses and your consent where applicable.
8. Children's Privacy
Slip is not intended for anyone under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If we learn we have collected information from someone under 18, we will delete it immediately. Contact privacy@sliplink.co if you believe a minor has provided us with personal information.
9. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)
California residents have additional rights including the right to know, right to delete, right to opt-out, and right to non-discrimination. We do not sell personal information as defined by the CCPA. To exercise your rights, contact privacy@sliplink.co.
10. European Privacy Rights (GDPR)
If you are in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, our legal bases for processing include contract performance, legitimate interests, legal obligations, and consent. You have the right to withdraw consent at any time, lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, restrict processing, and object to automated decision-making.
11. Do Not Track
We currently do not respond to Do Not Track signals, as there is no industry standard for compliance.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy, updating the "Last Updated" date, and sending an email notification for material changes.
