Where every dollar goes.
- Creator$18.0090% of the price
- Slip$2.0010% of the price
- Card processing$2.59Paid by the fan, on top
On a $20.00 sale the creator receives $18.00, the processor takes $2.59, and Slip earns $2.00. Processing is passed through at cost; we make nothing on it.
Content, custom requests and tips are all charged the same way.
Processing is shown at an example rate (9.9% + $0.35) until our processor's rate is set. Slip's share and the creator's don't depend on it.

What the fan pays, and why
- The fan pays the price plus a Slip fee. The fee covers card processing, at cost, rounded up to the cent. Slip makes nothing on it.
- The fee is the same for every card type, and the total is shown before the fan pays: on the item, on the button and at checkout.
- It shows on the fan's statement under a discreet descriptor, never the creator's name, shown at checkout before they pay.
Refunds
- Content: delivered the moment a fan pays. A fan with a problem asks Slip for help; each request is reviewed, and a technical failure is put right or refunded.
- Custom requests: the fan's card is held when they accept the quote and charged when the creator accepts within 72 hours; refunded in full if the creator doesn't accept in time or doesn't deliver within the time they quoted.
- Tips: a fan can cancel a tip themselves within an hour of paying, and no reply is owed for one.
- Technical failure: duplicate charges and unauthorized transactions are refunded.
A refund returns the fan's whole payment. Slip's fee on that sale is returned to the creator, and Slip pays any processing the processor keeps. The creator's statement shows the refund.
Disputes
Slip contests every card dispute with the record of the sale: the delivery log, the fan's confirmation and cancel hour for a tip, the receipt, and the 3-D Secure result. Nothing is deducted when a dispute is filed. If a dispute is lost on a purchase the creator delivered while their account is in good standing, the item price is deducted from the creator's next payout, Slip's fee on that sale is returned, and the processor's dispute fee is Slip's cost. Two exceptions, for disputes ruled from November 17, 2026: a dispute caused by the creator's own breach, such as prohibited content or an item that was not what it was sold as, also carries the dispute fee and Slip's fee on that sale is kept; and a dispute lost while the creator's account is under dispute review also carries the dispute fee. A shortfall is recovered from payouts for 90 days, then written off. Fans with a lost or fraud-coded dispute lose access to Slip. Accounts are reviewed when disputes reach 0.75% of transactions over a rolling 90 days, and may be terminated above 1%.
Limits
Limits that protect both sides: $100 per tip, $300 a day per fan on tips and instant content. The same for everyone from day one. Never a punishment.
A fan can also spend at most $1,000 a week and $2,500 a month with one creator, and one card at most $500 a day across Slip. Fans can set lower limits for themselves or pause buying. How spending controls work.
Payouts
- Slip pays you weekly from settled funds, in USD: by ACH to a US bank account, or by Paxum if you live outside the United States.
- The minimum payout is $50. Anything less is added to your next payout.
- Slip holds no creator balance beyond the settlement period. We'll tell you any payout fees before your first payout.
Our commitments
- Fees change only with 30 days' notice, emailed to creators.
- Every change is in the change log on this page.
- No fee is ever added at checkout that isn't on this page.
Change log
- October 18, 2026Custom requests: the creator quotes a delivery window of up to 30 days; the fan's card is held when they accept the quote and charged only when the creator accepts the order, within 72 hours, or the hold is released; the window runs from that acceptance, and an undelivered request is refunded in full automatically. The Slip fee on a custom includes a 5% service fee on the quote, shown to the fan before they pay and never deducted from the creator's price. Creators choose whether to take customs and their default window in Settings.
- October 18, 2026Slip's fee is 10% of each sale at any size; the 7% rate on the part of a month's sales past $5,000 is gone. Creators selling more than $20K a month are asked to talk to us about a negotiated rate, and 10% applies until one is agreed in writing.
- October 16, 2026Disputes: if one is lost on something the creator delivered, the creator loses that sale and Slip pays the processor's dispute fee. Only a dispute caused by the creator's own breach also carries the fee.
- October 5, 2026Fees published. Slip charges 10% per sale, 7% on the part of a month's sales past $5,000. The fan's Slip fee covers card processing at cost.

Questions
Why does the fan pay for processing?
So the creator receives their whole price, less Slip's fee. The processing charge is passed through at cost and shown before the fan pays.
What does the card statement say?
A discreet descriptor, shown at checkout before you pay. Never the creator's name or what was bought.
How are custom requests paid?
The creator quotes a price and a delivery time of up to 30 days. When the fan accepts the quote their card is held, not charged; the creator has 72 hours to accept the order, the card is charged then, and the window runs from that. If the creator doesn't accept in time the hold is released; if it isn't delivered in time, the fan is refunded in full, automatically, the 5% service fee included.
Tips
Slip charges the same 10%. A fan can cancel a tip themselves within an hour of paying, and no reply is owed for one.
Is there a monthly fee?
No. No subscription and no card on file. Slip charges only when you sell.
What if the creator never delivers?
The fan is refunded in full, automatically, and the sale is never credited to the creator.
Can singles be refunded?
A fan with a problem with a single asks Slip for help, as with any content: each request is reviewed, and a technical failure is put right or refunded. Singles never cost more than their set: picks in one payment stop at the set's price and get the whole set, and a fan who comes back for the rest of a set pays the difference.
What if a fan already bought part of a set or bundle?
It counts toward it: singles from it, a set they bought, or another bundle that held some of the same. They pay the difference, from $1, and nothing they already have all of is sold to them again. Across their purchases the creator is paid the set's or bundle's price.
