Buying on Slip
No account, one price on the button, and what happens when you pay.
No account needed
You buy with an email address and a card. There's nothing to sign up for, no app and no profile. Your receipt and a link to your conversation with the creator go to that email.
The price you see is the price you pay
Every price on a creator's link, item pages and buttons already includes the Slip fee. Checkout shows the item, the fee and the total before you pay. The fee is the same for every card and covers card processing.
Remember me
Tick Remember me on this device at checkout and next time you'll see "Paying as" with your email masked and a single Pay button. It's off unless you turn it on, and it only applies to the device you ticked it on.
What you can buy
- Sets: a group of photos or a video, delivered as soon as you pay.
- Confirm first items: the creator confirms your order before your card is charged.
- Custom requests: the creator's starting price is shown first, then you describe what you want, on the creator's page or with Request under your conversation, the creator quotes a price and a delivery time of up to 30 days, and you pay only if you accept. Paying holds the amount on your card; the creator has 72 hours to accept the order, and you're charged then, or the hold is released. Delivery is due within the window they quoted, from their acceptance, or you're refunded in full automatically. The Slip fee on a custom includes a 5% service fee on the quote, shown before you pay. A creator can also quote you a custom straight in the conversation, when you ask there: it shows as a card with a Pay button. A quote doesn't expire, though the creator can withdraw it until you pay.
- Bundles: several sets together, usually for less than buying each one. Whatever you've already bought of a bundle counts toward it.
- Singles: choose single photos, videos or audio, one or many, in one payment. Picks from one set never cost more than the whole set: once they reach its price, the rest is picked for you and you get all of it for that price. And if your picks leave so little of the set that it's too small to charge, the rest of it comes free with them. Bought singles from a set before? They count toward it, so the rest of the set costs the difference: Complete for shows the price. On a new device, pay with the email you used before and enter the code we send it: what you've bought counts there too.
- Tips: send any amount with a message.
When something says "open until"
A creator can open a window for a set time, like "Custom requests open until 9:40 PM PT" or "Lazy Sunday photo set on sale until 9:40 PM PT". It's a line at the top of their link with a countdown. Custom requests and Paid replies say "Open now"; items on sale show the sale price with the usual one beside it, and the price at checkout is the one you saw. When it ends, prices go back and everything still delivers as usual.
The age check
Before you see any images, Slip asks you to confirm you're 18 or older. You answer once per device. You can send a tip without it.
What shows on your card statement
The charge shows under a discreet name, never the creator's. You see the exact wording before you pay.
