Drops, joining and notifications

Buying something doesn't sign you up for messages. To hear when a creator has something new, join their list from their link page, from your conversation, or with the box at checkout. Joining shares your email address with that creator, and each join says so.

A drop is a creator's message about something new. It arrives in your conversation as a locked card with the price. Unlock for buys it right there without entering your details again. Once bought, the card shows your files and Open set.

After a purchase or a join, your conversation's ⋯ menu offers Turn on under Notifications. A drop then arrives as a discreet notification that says only that the creator has something new. On iPhone, add Slip to your Home Screen first (Share, then Add to Home Screen) and open the conversation from the Slip icon. Your purchases has the same switch for every creator in one place: the bell on each creator's card.

Every email has a one-tap unsubscribe. Turn off in your conversation's ⋯ menu stops notifications and keeps you on the list for email. Mute drops, in the same menu, stops a creator's drops from appearing there; your purchases and messages carry on, and Unmute drops brings them back.
